The executive committee of the Department of History

The executive committee is the central administrating body of the department. It consists of the professors and juniorprofessors and elected representatives of the lecturers, the students and the administrative staff. The executive committee discusses and decides on the general policy of the department and budgetary matters. Every two years the executive committee elects the chairperson of the department, who directs the sessions of the committee and advises the Dean.

The Central Administration Office

The department's central administration office deals with all important administrative procedures. Student support and administration: Registration for the Bachelor examination, issuing of notes of authorization for Bafög funding, placement in a semester, foreign study or leaves of absence. Erasmus mobility programs: announcements, correspondence with the partner universities, scholar support and administration, registration with the partner universities, support of international students in cooperation with the International Office. Other tasks: production of the annotated course calendar. In addition, the departmental office carries out internal administrative tasks such as budgetary monitoring and organisation of the executive committees of the Department.
